Swissuniversities manages the registration process for dental studies, which includes completing the Eignungstest für Medizinstudierende (EMS) as a mandatory requirement.

Course of study
The dental degree program in Switzerland is a five-year program that includes three years of Bachelor’s and two years of Master’s studies.
During the first two years of the Bachelor’s program, students complete basic studies alongside their peers in human medicine. The third year focuses on theoretical and practical teachings of fundamental dentistry.
The Master’s program emphasizes clinical experience and related theoretical teachings.
The program concludes with the successful completion of the board exams. Afterwards, graduates may pursue further education or training at the university.
